LWB's Story

The “LWB”, as expected, has a rich and illustrious history. At the inception of the Bocce Nation, our founders knew that they wanted to revolutionize the way bocce is played. So they mixed it up, made everything fresh, “portabilized” the game and-most importantly- simplified the game itself.
A huge part of making everything simpler was changing the name of the “pallino”, as it was formerly known, to something original, new and fun to say. “LWB” stands for Little White Ball (see? Can’t get much more simple than that!) He’s cool, he’s debonair, and he’s hip. Totally!"LWB"'s true lineage has been shrouded in mystery and intrigue for decades. While no one knows the exact year of his birth, or who his parents are, there are some facts that have been proven.
"LWB"'s ancestry can be traced from Italy, where his ancestors were named Pallina or
Pallino.After emigrating to America, they changed their name to Jack. While "LWB" has professed nothing but respect for his unknown elders, he has also never been one to blend in with the crowd. He changed his name from Jack to "LWB" long before acronyms gained the popularity they enjoy today, and has gone by that name ever since.
Of late he has garnered suspicion of descending from Sofia Loren and Sean Connery; however no evidence has been unearthed to support these claims. Other false lineage of "LWB" has been traced to Agustus Ceasar, Michelangelo and Mario Andretti. While "LWB" can easily be counted as a peer, none in fact are his predecessors. He's extraordinary and one of a kind!
"LWB" is an only child, but counts balls "Blue" and "Gold" as friends so close, they're practically brothers. They've been known to play bocce together exclusively. Like a fine champagne and a beautiful meal - they compliment each other beautifully.
